Lancia 037

The Lancia 037 Rally was a car designed with the only purpose of sweeping out every other rival at the FIA Rally World Championship. It was hard, very fast, very low, a true winner at those times, but mostly.... it was veeeeeeeery beautiful!!

Méhari

The Méhari was produced by Citroën from 1968 to 1988, using a very curious plastic body over the Citroën 2CV base. Heller have shrunk it a bit more to 1/24 scale and manufactured it, also in plastic, and with just a bit of paint and glue will become one of the most pleasant kits of your showcase

That is the word that comes straight to our minds when we stare at the 917. We have always been in love with her: her sublime lines, her colors, the whispering of the air pushed by her turbine, the purr of her flat engine... And if that was not enough she is even a winning car with a lot of history. All in all, a true myth, whose reedition by Fujimi we are premering this week. This week at SpotModel, we bring you his Maserati 250F scale model kit by the hands of Renaissance. The rocket that let him grab an epic victory, among many others, in the 1957 German Grand Prix at Nürburgring, the last of the 24 victories achieved in 51 grand prix and the one which made him World Champion for the fifth time. A frenetic race after which he confessed that he had never ever driven that fast and risky... :-O

The new Ford Escort RS1600 Mk I kits from Belkits have just burst into SpotModel warehouse, and they are giving it all: they're only focused on seducing us at all costs!!!... Thing is that, under that innocent and quite tame looks, hides a true World Rally Championship winner. You can chose between two versions: the one driven by British driver Roger Clark in 1972, or the 1973 version on which Finnish driver Mäkinen also achieved lots of victories.

Delighted

The MP4/30 wasn't exactly a cause for joy to its drivers Alonso and Button during 2015 season, but now they could make it up building one of the fabulous kits released by Ebbro of the prototype, now available at SpotModel. Two versions of the same car: one for the early season, wearing a silver decoration, and the second for the car wearing the graphite grey tone they used since Spanish Grand Prix. Someone should tell them that building this kit they will have much more joy than driving the car

Because not everything is all about crazy driving at the race tracks, or is it? ;D
